Self-serving parents make it really tough on their kids growing up. As if their children are accessories to their own lives, they treat their kids more like a thrift store handbag than human beings, capitalizing on their functionality instead of fulfilling their needs as a person. This narcissistic stay-at-home mom in this next story was far from motherly, exhibiting the worst of the worst in this hardworking family by spending years being a hypocritical freeloader. 

Because, naturally, when you say that adults shouldn't live with their parents to your kicked-out 18-year-old, you can expect that to come and bite you in the rear 20 years later when you need a hand-out. Just because you're a biological parent doesn't make you Mom or Dad—that's a title you've got to earn.
